TRADE IN THE ECONOMY
Commercial activity is very important because it is complementary to production. The products must be transferred to the market to be sold and acquired by the consumer.
All the goods or articles that the national economy can produce, in factories and companies, agricultural and livestock units, require trade and, therefore, be sold in the market, where there is supply and demand for those products.

FOREIGN TRADE
The export trade to the foreign market has been essential for the development of the national economy. The trade of bananas, shrimp, cocoa, flowers and tropical fruits stands out.
Progressively, the country is diversifying its exports to other regions and countries of the world, especially neighboring and Latin American countries.
Supplier countries of consumer goods, lubricants and fuels, raw material for national consumption, industry and machinery. Ecuador depends a lot on these matters.
