Different announcements
Their socials
Community
Check how the community is present in the project
See the engagement behind the project from the community, ask members you can see on their discord about their implication and their opinion
Investigate on how they plan to interact with their community
Some project does a Community program where they plan to interact and reward the members during the creation process of the project.
Check their Twitter:
How many followers do they have and compare it with the interaction they get on their posts (posts other than Giveaways!).
Also watch the way they are interacting with the community on Twitter.
Check if they use any other socials such as Telegram or Medium. See the engagement towards the project and always control how the team communicate with their community
-
How often does those announcements occur? Do they talk with their community? Are they giving news often and stay updated regarding their community?
What are they doing before the mint? How will the mint proceed? What's the price? Are they already working on any utility?
How did they make it? Is it clear with information about each step, not just key words to attract the hype?
When will they start to release any major points they mentioned in their Whitepaper?
You have to be aware of the release date for each major point since it's going to drive the hype and the fame toward the project. If everything will come in more than 6 months, then you should be convinced by the end product and not for the quick value.
-
How are the team members presented? Can we see them or are they hiding? What are their personal background and where do they come from professionaly?
-
Different topic mentioned: NFT, tokens, community...
-
Community: What are their plans for the members? How do they plan to give value to holders? Did they copy or do something brand new?
-
NFT: How is the design ? Try a google research to see if you can find some similarities with another project. Check on other design website such as ArtStation, DeviantArt or Behance to see if the designs are not already use.

A doxxed team is not a certain sign of a good project, it's known to be a trust factor but, still be careful with that argument
-
Look at it in a larger scale, think about long term and where you think the project will be in 6 months, 1 year, 2 years.
-
Checking the mint and if they have partnered to do it can tell you if they have great capacity to organize it the good way or if they partnered, could be a way to professionalize it. With SC dev' being more and more easy to do, it could not be taken as a proof of great value but still has to be considered
-
Creating a great roadmap is easy, just put some key words, nice graphics and it can hype very quickly. You need to look for concrete information and not only words. Projects that can explain each point very well will most likely be more precise in their vision
-
Those are the main reason why a project will get value and without a minimum of 2 from those 3 the project should be taken carefully. (Tokens might not be mandatory to have a good project but it surely add value
-
If the team has already shown some of their work and proving they are moving forward then it's a good trust point for the project
-
This is important to see if they respect what they say. If they give any dates or promise anything, did they deliver it?
-
A team giving updates on the progression regarding the roadmap and whitepaper gets more trust because we can see they are producing and not just waiting for things to happen. You have to measure the importance of their announcements, some may do a lot of them but not efficiently as they don't speak about productivity but just entertain the community.
-
It's important to be aware of the traction and interaction they get from their posts. If they have 5K+ Followers but only get 50/100/150 likes or RT on their posts, then it's suspicious.
-
It's important to see how they manage their community, how they communicate with them and if they answer in a good way. Professional team will just speak with fact and be always present to help in any case. A project should have a good Mod/Admin team to increase this factor
-
Having members that interact between each others and welcome the newcomers will always give a good trust factor to the project.
If everything is silent, you always see the same 1/2/3 members talking and nothing more, ask some question to investigate because no interactions = no engagement
-
A lot of project don't think community is a big thing but if you don't have a solid base of community members, who is going to "organically" spread the ideas and hype regarding the project? A Community with a lot of interaction should be a good trust factor but you have to check the reason why they are engaging. If it's not for a whitelist or giveaway then it's great interactions
