The FITT Principle helps individuals remember how often you do an exercise, how hard you exercise, how long your workout is, and what type of exercise or physical activities you choose.
The FITT Principle can be applied to exercise, sport, or physical activity in general or in very specific components.
The FITT acronym stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type.
Learning Objectives
Students will be able to explain, structure, and apply the FITT Principle to designing an individual fitness improvement plan using their current fitness data.
