Some of the chest muscles missing.

Upper rib cage can be missing.
No armpit hair
Skin on the chest is very underdeveloped
Definition
Underdevelopment or absence of the chest muscle on one side of the body.
Named after Sir Alfred Poland
Sometimes called Poland Syndrome
Can be diagnosed at birth
If not sever, it may not be diagnosed until puberty
Cause
Evidence shows that something happened in the sixth week of fetal development
Unknown
Treatment
The best option is reconstructive surgery.
They will use the existing chest muscles to rebuild the chest.
They can take muscle from other parts of the body if needed.
Females have to wait until breast tissue is done growing,
Males and have it done as early as 13
