Hitler destroyed the League of Nations Disarmament Conference by demanding equality of arms with France and Britain. Hitler built his army without letting the others know which was already bad.
Europe did not take Hitlers action lightly. In fact, Germany faced consequences for their actions in terms of losing 10% of their land, 12.5% of their population was also lost and they faced economic loss and were forced to pay repartiations.

Hitler increased the amount of weapons which led to the expansion of the Germans military. He also recruited more troops and increased his man count from 100,000 men to 1,400,000. They received tanks, ships, guns, bombs and etc.
