Diversity and Unity of the World's Population
Culture Diversity
Throughout the history of mankind, many diverse cultures have emerged.
Some have covered large areas and have formed large conglomerates called "civilizations"; others have focused on small territories.
Some have made notable wars and conquests and others have remained peaceful.
Differences have often been perceived as threats.
Differences in language, religious practices, customs have sometimes created tensions.
There has been created collaboration points and peaceful coexistence as where groups of diverse cultures and beliefs can coexist in the same places.
The Human Family Tree
Family tree is a graphic representation that lists
the ancestor and descendants of an individual in
an organized and systematic way
Genetic markers
determine the genetic heritage that is transmitted from one individual to another.
The advances of genetics show that human beings
start from a single common root in Africa but there are still obstacles that prevent determining
the reason for ethnic differences.
One Humanity
All human people are basically the same, even in the biological aspect.
Clashes & Dialogue
There are people who have thought that the best way to overcome the clashes between peoples,
cultures and civilizations is to suppress their differences.
Trying to suppress differences have destroyed identity elements that are great values that must be preserved.
The only effective way to overcome tensions is through a dialogue that respects the differences at the same time that the existing misgivings fade away.
