the parliament:
the first real palriament has been convocated in 1265 by Simon the Monford, when he convocated representitives of the towns.
the structure:
house of commons:
formed by 650 MPs and each of them represent a constituency (area of the UK), most of the MPs belong to a political party but some of them are "free".
monarch:
the monarch these days have a representive role and meet the prime minister once a week. And have to sign every new law.
house of lords:
formed by 750 people it has similar powers to the house of commons but most of the people have a life peer, a role that you will be for the entire life, and there are even some people that have a hereditary peer that can be enherited by your son.
