    - - formed by 750 people it has similar powers to the house of commons but most of the people have a life peer, a role that you will be for the entire life, and there are even some people that have a hereditary peer that can be enherited by your son.

  - - - a law is something we all agree to, and the proposals for new laws are called bills. and can be proposed by many people
        
        then a bill is discussed in both houses and if it isn't approved by both can be resend to the other house.
        
        and then after the approval form both the house of lords and the house of commons the monarch have to approve it and then it becomes a law.
