- Barriers to Effective Communication
Emotions-An effective communication requires a sender and a receiver who are open to speaking and listening to one another, despite possible differences in opinion or personality.

5.Modes of communication
Written Communication
more reliable for complex and lengthy communications.
Example: Letters and PowerPoint
Nonverbal Communication
-Includes body movements, the intonations or emphasis we give to words, facial expressions, and the physical distance between the sender and receiver.
Example: Body language can convey status,level of engagement, and emotional state.
Oral Communication
when you need to gauge the receiver’s receptivity.
-Example : Meetings,Videoconferencing and conference calling
