Acceptance is important, family support is important
The questions: Who I am?, What I believe in?, Where do I go?, What am I suppose to do here?

Identity, is not only about the looks in the outside. It is important to mention the likes and dislikes, what we think, what we want, where we want to go.
Sex, religion, skin color, culture, age, language and communication are part of our identity
Aren't we all the same? Flesh, bones, blood. What makes me feel different? Am I different? or other sees me as different?
Identity: Begins with family, heritage, family culture
Culturally Deaf, Deaf, Deaf gain, Deaf way of life

Multicultural families: Different backgrounds, languages, believes inside the family unit. Outside the family unit, people behaves differently
Inside family unit: might not sign, or they use family signs, maybe a different spoken language, no Deaf friends or family, no Deaf exposure
Outside family unit: ASL with friends and at school, might not speak, Deaf gatherings, Deaf social environment
Deaf Identities: big "D", little "d", hard of hearing, late deafened

Am I Deaf? or there is a hearing issue with me? I don't know other people with hearing issues like mine
