Digital Artifact 2: Learning Goals and Success Criteria
Michael Spencer

What are you finding challenging, puzzling or difficult to understand?
-
I wonder how to best incorporate the achievement chart categories (the action words) and how to best incorporate the achievement chart into the success criteria.
I also wonder how the language in success criteria or learning goals change depending on the level of the class & what is most appropriate for each level (spec ed, applied academic etc...)
: :
The achievement chart is also used as a reference to plan assessments and instructions so that all four categories are met (Rahemtula)
These 4 Categories are: Knowledge & Understanding, Communication, Application & Thinking/Inquiry
I learned about the use of the achievement chart which is to describe performance across all four categories and the four levels of achievement. (Rahemtula)
-
I also learned that the action words used within the achievement chart on slide 36/40 can be used within the success criteria to adhere to the four categories and to better organize assessment and instruction to fit this & make sure that all categories are met within the learning process (Rahemtula)
