Treatment- aimed at controlling symptoms and preventing complications rather than curing disorder as currently there is no cure.
Medications
Medications that cause Vasodilation - to increase blood flow to peripheral sites in order to prevent loss of extremity or significant damage to tissues
Immune suppression medication- Can decreased the rate at which autoimmune process occurs and may decrease damage to skin, heart, lung, etc for longer period of time in order to maintain functional status.
Digestive system improved with medications such as H-2 blockers to decrease acid produced and antibiotics used to help decrease bloating, diarrhea, and constipation

Prevention
Due to risk of tissue damage caused by decreased blood flow, oxygen delivery, cardiac output, or nutrition absorption; prevention of infection is key.
Diligence with handwashing, bathing, and avoidance of contact with germs.
