Fox's and bats are awake at night and in the day they are asleep.
Some animals give us food and drink
bees give us honey
cows give us milk
sheep give us wool
pigs make bacon
bats can hang upside-down
cheetahs run fast

Peacocks make their tails big to scare of predators
Predator - eats other animals
Herbivore - doesn't eat meat, eats plants e.g. monkey, horse, giraffe, zebra, elephant
Omnivore - animals who eat plants and meat e.g. badger, pig, dog

Why do some animals jump and others don't?
Some animals are big so scare off other animals - they can escape
Can jump - frog, rabbit, kangaroo, gazelle, dolphin Can't jump - turtle, lizard, elephant, giraffe
Why do kangaroos have a pouch?
They keep a joey in their pouch for 7 months and get their milk from the teats. When the baby poos, the mum cleans it with their mouth. The joey is only 1 inch when born.
