It is a guideline that encompasses the whole course or program in terms of the subject matter and chapters to be dealt (S., 2017) and goals to be realized by an educational system (Allen, 1994, as cited in Musingafi et al., 2015).
“Teaching methods, lessons, assignments, physical and mental exercises, activities, projects, study material, tutorials, presentations, assessments, test series, learning objectives, and so on” are included in the curriculum (S., 2017).
It covers “the knowledge, attitude, behaviour, manner, performance, and skills” of a student to be obtained (S., 2017).
Objectives are connected with goals because they are particular methods by which learners can show their comprehending or application of goals (A Pass Educational Group LLC, 2020).
Learning outcomes are more detailed than curriculum goals and deal with the students’ knowledge and abilities, as assessment measures and learning are demonstrated (Colorado College, 2021b).
Learning outcomes are demonstrable, observable, and measurable (Colorado College, 2021b).
Learning outcomes are the actual knowledge or skills (Colorado College, 2021a).
They are products of students’ learning (Colorado College, 2020).

Teaching program is “a series of courses linked with some common goal or end product” (Lynch, 1997, p. 2, as quoted in Zehir Topkaya & Küçük, 2010, p. 52).
Teaching program appertains to topics of the curriculum.
“It provides structure (content) for classroom teaching and learning suggesting ways of implementing the content and assessing learning outcomes (Zehir Topkaya & Küçük, 2010).”
Curriculum goals are overall statements of the program’s/ department’s job for the providing students with the wanted knowledge and skills, and students’ job for gaining the wanted knowledge and skills (Colorado College, 2021a).
Curriculum goals are related to the processes of students’ learning (Colorado College, 2020).
It is an outline of the topics to be studied by students in a specific time of learning, and it is a facet of the curriculum (Okai, 2010, as cited in Musingafi et al., 2015).
The curriculum covers the syllabus.
The syllabus assists students to understand the subject comprehensively, the reason for studying the subject, the expectations from learners, and implications of failure; it involves policies, general rules, instructions, topics, projects, test dates, and assignments. (S, 2017)
