PRINCIPLES :pen:
- Generality and equality
Everyone is welcome at educational institutions, regardless of language, color, gender, handicap, or religion. In education, no privilege may be offered to any individual, family, organization, or class.
- The needs of the individual and society
The national education service is established in accordance with Turkish people' aspirations and talents, as well as the demands of Turkish society.
- Orientation
Individuals are trained during their schooling by being led to various programs or schools based on their interests, talents, and abilities.
- The right to education
Every Turkish citizen has the right to attend primary school. Citizens gain from secondary education institutions to the degree of their interests, talents, and capacities.
- Equality of opportunity
In education, all men and women are given equal access and possibilities. Free boarding, scholarships, loans, and other forms of assistance are offered to guarantee that successful students who lack financial resources receive education up to the highest educational levels. Special precautions are made to nurture youngsters who require specialized education and protection.
- Continuity
Individuals' general and vocational education must continue throughout their lives. Aside from the education of children, it is also an educational obligation to take the required steps to ensure the continued education of adults in order to assist them in constructively adapting to life and work environments.
- Atatürk's reforms and principles and Atatürk's nationalism
Atatürk's reforms and ideas, as well as Atatürk's nationalism, which found expression in the Constitution, serve as the foundation for all educational activities in the creation and implementation of course programs connected to each degree and type of our education system.
- Democracy education
It is intended to develop and develop the awareness of democracy, the knowledge, understanding, and behavior of the dormitory administration, the sense of responsibility and respect for moral values that citizens should have for the realization and continuation of a strong and stable, free and democratic social order, in all types of educational activities; however, it is not permitted to make political and ideological suggestions contrary to Atatürk's nationalism.
- Secularism
The importance of secularism in Turkish national education cannot be overstated. Religious culture and moral education are among the mandatory courses given at elementary, secondary, and similar institutions.
- Scientific
Curriculums and educational techniques of all levels and types, as well as course materials and equipment, are continually being created in accordance with scientific and technical principles and advances, as well as environmental and national demands. Scientific research and assessments are used to improve educational efficiency while also assuring ongoing progress and innovation.
- Plannedness
The development of national education is planned and carried out in accordance with the objectives of economic, social, and cultural development, taking into account the education-manpower-employment relationships, and focusing on vocational and technical education that will provide the necessary technological development in industrialization and agricultural modernization.
- Coeducational
Co-educational schools for both boys and girls are essential. Certain schools, however, may be entirely for girls or exclusively for boys, depending on the type of instruction, opportunities, and requests.
- Cooperation between education campuses and school and family If many formal and/or non-formal education institutions coexist in the same location, an education campus and education campus management can be developed to address their mutual requirements.

General goals;of this legislation is to develop informed, creative, and constructive individuals who accept and safeguard the moral, cultural, and human values of the Turkish nation and always praise them, and who have achieved a balanced and healthy personality in mind, body, and spirit. It also aims to create adults who will be respectful to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his ideas.
