Because of how the Spinning Jenny's functions, and how it only took one person to spin 8 spindles, labor demand for hand spindling was cut, and some people started to become unemployed.
Because of how the Spinning Jenny was operated, it would make the job of laborers and weavers much easier.

A disadvantage of the Spinning Jenny, was that the machine was more expensive, compared to the accustomed traditional spinning wheel.

Compared to a spinning wheel, which would usually be less than a British shilling, a spinning jenny with a full 24 spindles would cost about 70 or more shillings, which would economically affect those who would try and purchase the piece of equipment.
With the Spinning Jenny boosting Britain's textile industry, matters such as Britain's coal and iron industries, and Britain's raw material exports uplifting, A Part of Britain's economy boosted up.
the Spinning Jenny is credited with moving the textile industry from homes to factories. The move from a domestic cottage based industry to factories allowed the growth of the Industrial Revolution from England through much of planet earth.

In the year 1770, English Carpenter James Hargreaves finally introduces the Spinning Jenny, technological advancement for cotton producers to keep up with textile demands.
Throughout the years, after the Spinning Jenny was introduced, Britain's textile industry had started to grow, bigger and bigger.
1770, Hargreaves finally applied the patent for his invention, but he soon began to notice that others were applying modifications and improvements to the Spinning Jenny.'
As years went by, the original 8 spindled Spinning Jenny, had improved and was modified to fit 120 spindles, which resulted in producing up to a skyrocketing 80 threads!
Upon the death of James Hargreaves, an estimated 20,000+ Spinning Jenny's were in full operation, that kept on producing more and more yarn and textiles throughout the industrial revolution.
