The inverted pyramid
This shape is commonly used when presenting a suggested format for a newspaper report. It starts with the most crucial information first, and then each segment provides less critical information as the pyramid proceeds. This isn't to say that the text's body isn't important, but without a lead, headline, or byline, it wouldn't be complete.
The headline
The title efficiently captures the reader's attention while also summarizing the major argument of the piece.
Non-essential terms like 'the,' 'a,' or 'to' may need to be removed from the title in order for it to be quick and snappy. It should also be appealing to the eye, which can be achieved through the use of humor, alliteration, or a pun.
The byline
Because it does not require any ingenuity, the byline is the easiest section of the essay. It informs the reader who wrote the essay, their title, and where they may find more of their work.
Structure of byline
Begin your byline with your complete name after the word 'by.'
• Explain how the reader may learn more about you or your business by utilizing a made-up social media handle like JoeBloggs, and then specify your area of specialty, such as sports reporting, education reporting, or food writing.

The tail
-
• In the tail, include any additional or ancillary information on the occurrence or related issues.
-
• Summarize the story with a quote from an expert or witness, or hint at what might happen next.
The Newspaper Caption
They are made up of a single statement that describes the image in the article and how it relates to the substance of the article.
-
This can be placed beneath the image's description in the newspaper caption. This is more straightforward and does not necessitate as much stylization as the caption.
