Examples - Grass, spring onions

Stem
Function: Keeps the plant parts upright, Transports water, minerals and food within the plant.
Xylem- Conduction of water and dissolved minerals ( From roots to other parts of the plant)
Phloes - Translocation of sucrose and amino acids ( from leaves to other parts of a plant)
