You decide it's probably best not to meet whoever it was keeping you here and sneak out the front door. The moment your hit be a feeling of death as silent screams wail through your mind, hesitantly you take your first step out side, to freedom, though it doesn't feel like freedom, just walking into another cage.
You take in your surroundings the smell of something pungent thickens the air your surrounded by a large dark imposing trees, a forest, you decide the only way forward to to explore. You can go North, East, or West
East:
you decide to head east, after about thirty minutes of walking you hear someone callout to you "Hey you get over here".
Walk toward them or run
Walk toward:
You decide to head toward the voice. As you approach who ever called out to you you see someone or rather what you think is something human hiding under a large coat with it's hood up it carries a large bag of various objects and is clearly armed, as you get close you see that it is very much not fully human as it has a dog head "your from that house just West of here ya, you where the one that was locked up there. Don't worry I'm not like that madman but as I'm he one who so graciously freed you I am going to expect you to to help me with something." He hands me a bag with a map and some basic supplies "You see here" he point to the crudely made map at what is labeled "burned house" it's just further east from here "I need you to head over there and retrieve a key for me" you nod you head as you don't really have another option. As you walk away you hear his shout "and don't even think about running away"
Head East:
You thinks it's best to help since they helped you fair is fair right? You head further east into the woods hearing the occasional sound of something moving about, you believe it's just rabbits and deer, in the distance you see your destination a old burned bungalow, the roof has fallen and one of the walls is torn down but it's more or less still a house. As you approach you hear something that sounds like crying coming from an old fallen grain silo some distance from the house.
head toward the crying or continue your quest
Forward:
You ignore the sounds as you have learned that everything in these woods are trying to kill you

Head North:
As you walk north you come across a bridge with an old man on the other side. As you pass him by he motions towards you "you better not continue that way some creatures have taken up residents in an old building near that area"
Talk to man:
"could you help me carry somethings back to my village I can make you some soup when we get there"

Don't talk:
you decide to ignore the old man and carry on. He was right about the whole creatures taking up residence as you got to meet some of these lovely individuals as they tear you apart.

North:
You decide that forward is the best way to go so you trudge deeper into these mysterious woods.
After about thirty minutes of walking you hear something rustling in the bushes you turn you head quickly the way it was coming you feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins you must decide quick to run or stay.
Stay:
You decide to stay despite your better judgment you stand ready for a fight but you know full well you won't be able to fight whatever comes from that bush, as you stand there for what feels like hours, finally a pair of horns peaks the bushes followed by a grotesquely mutated face of what you believe was once human mushrooms growing out the side of it's skull, you doubt it has any intelligence left. You know this is the end as it pounces on you with a stone and starts to beat your skull in with it and as your vision fades you can only think about a large metal door labeled "67" and vague memories of home.
The End
Run:
You decide it's better to run, you use the adrenaline to send you legs flying faster than they have ever moved as you run away from what even that noise was. After about 10 minutes you think you finally lost what ever that was but your realize that your also lost, as the adrenaline in your blood turns to fear and anxiety you star t to frantically look around seeing shadows in every corner voices whispering encircling and engulfing you till it al goes silent, your ears a muffled ring, a pain in your chest as you grasp at it you fall to your knees and die. I the end nothing really killed you, you never had the chance to survive you died of a heart attack before anything started.
The End
West:
You decide to hear west. After about thirty minutes of walking you come across an open field with strange symbols dug into the ground. As you stand there mesmerized by these symbols that seem to have put you into a trance you get clubbed over the head and knocked unconscious.
You wake up yet again in a room this time the cold stone is the first thing you meet as you peel you face of of it, you must have been out for a few hours, not good for your long term health but I don't think you need to worry about long term, you look around seeing you in some kind of underground cave or passage, at the from of the room is an alter lit with red candles similar looking symbols etched into the stone and a closed book that looks awfully ornate, to the other side of the room the passage continues down deeper into the caves.
investigate the book or continue deeper.
Open the book:
You walk up to the alter with the book and flip it open, you quickly realize you can't read it but are very capable of looking at pictures, you pick up the notion that this book is cursed and that anyone who looks at it's pages dies soon after, well your not dead so it must not be a very good cursed book. When you look up from the pages you realize you've been surrounded by people in cloaks and hoods one steps forward and speaks "you see the book!" you stare at him wondering if this might be the end of your short lived journey, the mans face turns into a menacing grin as he chant's "he has returned!" over and over till finally he looks at you "you are our king yes? The one to lead us to the further age"
After a while you find out everyone thinks your there blessed king or leader because you can look at the book without dyeing, your glad to not be murdered or sacrificed by these people but your also not exactly able to leave either. After years you've grown into your role of lead and have started to kind enjoy the attention and praise, who knows maybe you really will usher in a new age.
you became a cult leader
The End
Deeper:
You head deeper into the underground passages passing by etched symbols and hieroglyphics that appears to depict a type of sacrifice of sorts. After walking though these tunnels for quite a while you come across a massive under ground pool, a faint drip can be heard echoing through out the cavern as a single drop of water falls from the stalactites at a consistent pace.
go for a swim or turnback
Go for a swim:
You decide for what ever reason to go for a quick dip in the massive pool of mysterious water you found in an under ground cult cave but anyhow you hop in. At first it's quite nice, the water is surprisingly warm and relaxing but as you float around you have a sense your not the only thing in this water, you don't have a chance to run even if you knew it was there. You where swallowed whole by something much much larger than you where.
