Tape players and record players are analogue devices. This is beause they record date linearly from one point to another.
Back in time if you wanted to play games on a computer, you would have to enter game codes.
In order to play the game after you shut it off you have to reneneter the game code, which can take hours. (not always)
Games could take up to 15mins to laod in - not always.
The storage on a cassette tape can vary depending on the type of computer you had.

The cassette is placed in the tape recorder, the magnetic tape inside the cassette passes around the five magnetic heads of the recorder

It consits of a thin plastic base material, and bonded to this base is a coating of ferric oxide powder. The oxide is mixed with a binder to attach it to the plastic and also includes a dry lubricant to avoid the recorder from wearing out.
Advantages of Digital Use: Mostly free, Quick and easy access, Updates lively
Disadvantages of Digital Use: No internet you cant access it then, Blue light, If mistake is made it will remain online forever.
Advantages of Analogue Use:
Its portable, Can re-use it, No wifi needed.
Disadvantages of Analogue Use: Delayed news, More expensive and if it gets wet you cant use it again.
