Dracula 1-7
-
Dracula himself
"Welcome to my house! Enter freely and of your own will" (18). Kind of a twist on the classic "vampires can only enter if invited" and im wondering if this is supposed to be the same thing like maybe he can only accept a guest if they enter his home of their own will.
he's got control issues, "I have been so long master that i would be master still--or at least that none other should be master of me" (24). this comes up again later when the three women are trying to seduce jonathan and he tells them that he is his first then theirs and that they are not to disobey him.
Mina
very composed character, worries for Jonathan, writes astutely on a typewriter, may have a love triangle thing happening with her and Lucy
