anti racist feminism
intersectionality: Being stuck in between two roads (ex. Being both the non dominant race and gender)

Anti racist feminism wants to promote a distinction between white and other types of feminism such as black, Asian, and Indigenous.
………. Went back to her hometown in Pakistan. To teach education. Girls were banned to go to school. When she created a new school for girls and boys to learn, 25 schools were then created with around 15,000 children.

liberal feminsim
Weakness: Never included women who were not white, heterosexual, cisgender, uppermiddle class, or ablebodied.
Guided by the principles of classical liberalism. Since men are free and equal, women should be as well.
Aims: EQUALITY, Voting rights for women, access to education, marriage rights (women can maintain rights over money and property while married to a man), the right to own property
Accomplishments: Got access to education, won the right to vote, holding political office, owning property, marriage rights.
radical feminism
-The root of the problem is the nuclear family, main source of oppression is men
-it stems from the nuclear family as men wanted constant control over women and their bodies
-nuclear family= immediate family
-does not include all races, exclusive for non racialized women
-main goal is to control their bodies and sexuality.
-change word from victim to surviour
-reclaim the word slut, change the meaning and take the power of the word back
-aim to change what men think of women in romantic relationships
women participated in the slut walk in order to reclaim the word slut, in which they were often called this by men. this walk opened eyes to slut shaming and rape culture and how unnoticed it goes

socialist feminism
economic opportunity

they believe in economic good of a society from socialist viewpoint. this theory is very economically focused, mainly enrapt in looking towards financial gain or prosperity. They believe that capitalism and economics based patriarchy are the main reason that women are not seen as being equal to men.
The feminists were aiming for, free daycare, equal pay, and equal healthcare
Socialist feminists believe in equal pay and wish for more government spending on things like childcare and healthcare.
