The documentation stated that cereal sales were down and low-carb advocates were contributing to those lower sales. Gary was the only MD noted by name on those documents and targeted directly.
Gary was reported to the medical board not long after the then CEO of the Dietician's Association of Australia wrote to Gary's hospital twice to tell him to stop speaking up.
