Adolescent or young adults begin to think abstractly and reason about hypothetical problems. Begin to use deductive logic, or reasoning from a general principle to specific information. Think more about moral, philosophical, ethical, social, and political issues.
Pre-operational

Children begin to think symbolically and learn to use words and pictures to represent objects. Magical thinking occurs here, kids during this stage are very egocentric and don’t understand cause and effect, so it is difficult to differentiate fantasy and reality.
Sensori-motor

Children learn about the world through basic actions and learn very basics about language, then they begin to attach names and words to objects
Concrete operational

Children begin to thinking logically about concrete events, Furthermore, egocentrism begins to disappear as kids become better at thinking about how other people might view a situation.
