Treatment of disorders includes two general components: reduction of symptoms and improvement in the quality of life. However, this is not applicable in cases of severe disorders like schizophrenia.

→ Skills like weaving, paper-making, etc. are taught.
Social Skills Training
→ Interpersonal skills like empathy, cooperation, communication skills, etc. are taught.
Cognitive Retraining
→ Skills like decision-making, attention, memory, and execution functioning is improved.
Vocational Therapy
→ Employable skills are taught.
