Passive voice
The object has the verb done to it and becomes the focus of the sentence e.g "the pizza was eaten by Miss Williams". it is the opposite of the Active voice, where the subject is doing the verb and becomes the focus if the sentence e.g "Miss Williams ate the pizza"

Pre closing signal
