Mathematics Literacy (Minor)
Students’ ability to interpret mathematics in various context. Reasoning mathematically and using mathematical concepts to explain and predict phenomena.
Reading Literacy (Major)
Assess students on how to understand, use, evaluate, reflect on, and engage with texts to achieve the answers.
Science Literacy (Minor)
In this area, students should be able to engage with science related issues which includes explaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific enquiry.
Problem Solving Skills
Financial Literacy (Optional)
The students’ ability to understand the concepts of financial and its risks in order to make and effective decisions in context of financial plus to improve the wellbeing of individuals and society financially and to participate in economic activities and development.

allowing academically weaker countries to benefit from the experiences of academically superior countries

Provides a method for assessing knowledge, skills and trends by measuring students ability to use knowledge in everyday life situations
Introduction
Every three years, some 80 countries collaborate in comparing their school system’s performance in preparing youths for life and work.
The comparison is seen by doing international assessment of the knowledge and skills of 15 year old students known as PISA.
