Numbers are always arranged in the same order - 1, 2, 3, 4, never 3, 2, 1, 4. Likewise, each addition/subtraction/multiplication/division question always has the same answer - 1 + 1 is always 2. It is not possible for 1 + 1 to suddenly change its mind and equal 3 instead.
