- - - - The Jools gig was fun, I developed camera performing skills that I gained from doing extras filming jobs

  - - - The evening gig was very tedious. Being limited to doing 2 songs per band very much killed my performance vibe, but I understand that there were other bands that needed to perform as well.

- - - - Not really, The songs I played bass on where your typical 4 chord songs. Not required to do much and thus was very bored and didn't feel challenged.

        Why?
        
        I developed a bassline that would fit the song, this allowed me to play a more complex rhythm instead of playing singular notes
  - - - As my first time performing lead vocals at a live gig. I approached it with minimal practice. I was using my previous experience of vocal projection techniques that I developed during my L2 PA course . I tried to project my voice from my diaphragm. coming into this I had no upfront vocal experience but knew the lyrics of by heart. I had roughly 16 weeks of band rehearsals before the final gig and in my spare time I rehearsed the song alone along to the original track.
        
        Which songs you perform vocals on?
        
        I performed lead vocals on 'This Love' By Maroon 5
        
        Why?
        
        I wanted to test my vocal ability and also wanted to push myself out of the comfort zone. instead of being the one at the back of the room (which inevitably I would be for most the project) I wanted to be the front man, but not one who is stuck to the mic stand.

        Rehearsals were very sparse, with a lot of mucking around by other members of the group, although I believe that all were close friends so that can be taken into consideration...
        This led me to become disinterested in attending rehearsals. I later went on to learn my parts to a high standard whilst the others were still struggling. I still feel like I was the most confident performer come gig day.
        the key to mastering any song a lot of practice and study is a must.
