SARS is a serious form of viral pneumonia. The symptoms of SARS are; a dry cough, sore throat, difficulties breathing, headaches and body aches, loss of appetite, rash and diarrhea. SARS is spread through bodily fluids, caring for someone with SARS and hugging, kissing, touching, or sharing utensils with an infected person. There is no confirmed treatment that works for everyone with SARS however antiviral medications and steroids could be administrated to reduce lung swelling. In severe cases, blood plasma from someone who has already recovered from SARS would be administrated. However, there is not a lot of evidence on how effective it is.
