Hydroponics Capstone - Coggle Diagram
Hydroponics Capstone
Shelving
- Ability to grow multiple hydroponic systems in one place
- Shelves available for the connection of pipes and wires
Lighting
-
Non-heat emitting would work quite well with our
hydroponics system, however, it will require a water heater of some sort located at the bottom of the tank.
A non-heat emitting lamp will be more adaptable for urban home environments because it is smaller and much lighter.

Water filters
We can find/or create a water filter that is inside/outside the main tank instead of being in another separate tank
- This way, we won't have to spend more money purchasing an off tank.
- This would also prove to be better because it will take less energy to move the water between different pipes
-
Pipes
Instead of having two pipes that run through the top of the tank, we can have one pipe that is cut in half
.
-
- We would also be able to more easily and efficiently be able to insert, and remove the plants.
- We could save more money only needing to purchase one
- We would be able to more easily observe the plants if the tops of the pipes are cut off
Water Heater
With the use of a water heater, we will be able to easily adjust the temperature of the water without affecting the amount of light output
- This would probably be a product that is waterproof so it can be placed in the water -at the bottom of the tank- as to not take up any unnecessary space
- The temperature would be controlled from the app, or if we have to, it will have to be changed manually
