THE 5 KINGDOMS
kingdom monera
they are prokaryotic, unicellular organisms and sometimes they are autotrophic and sometimes, heterotrophic, they contain cell walls. Autotrophic beings that do photosynthesis have chlorophyll, but not chloroplasts belong to this kingdom bacteria and cyanophyceous algae.
-
protoctist kingdom
they are eukaryotic, unicellular, multicellular and autotrophic or heterotrophic beings, they grow from differentiated tissues, have cell walls and chloroplasts. To this kingdom belong protozoa and algae
-
kingdom plants
they are eukaryotic, multicellular and autotrophic beings, they have tissues and organs, their cells have cell walls and chloroplasts
flowerless plants
they are plants that do not contain flowers or seeds, they are the Bryophytes and the Pteridophytes
-
flowering plants
contain flowers and seeds with conductive vessels, here are gymnosperms and angiosperms
-
kingdon fungi
they are eukaryotic, unicellular or multicellular organisms and always heterotrophs have a cell wall and do not contain chloroplasts. ha this kingdom belong fungi and yeasts
-
animal kingdom
are eukaryotic, multicellular and heterotrophic organisms, have tissues and organs
invertebrate animals
lack backbone and are poriferous, cnidarians, annelids, molluscs, echinoderms and atrophids
-
vertebrate animals
they have a backbone formed by vertebrae and are fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals
