THE FIVE KINGDOMS - Coggle Diagram
THE FIVE KINGDOMS
KINGDOM MONERA
What are they?
They are prokaryotic organisms usually unicellular, which are usually autotrophs and others, heterotrophs. Its cells usually have a cell wall, but with a different composition than plants. Autotrophic beings that do photosynthesis have chlorophyll, but not chloroplasts.

-
KINGDOM ANIMAL
What are they ?
They are multicellular and heterotrophic eukaryotic organisms. They have tissues and organs with different functions. According to the type of skeleton they have, they are vertebrates or invertebrates
-
Types
Vertebrate animals
They are animals that have a backbone, which is formed by the vertebrae, which articulate with each other.
They are fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals
Invertebrate animals
These animals lack a backbone in their body
are porifers, cnidarians, molluscs, echinoderms and arthropods
KINGDOM FUNGI
What are they?
They are eukaryotic, unicellular or multicellular organisms, and always heterotrophic. Their cells usually have a cell wall, whose composition is different from that of the other groups, and do not have chloroplasts.
-
-
KINGDOM PROTOCTIST
What are they?
They are unicellular or multicellular eukaryotic beings, and autotrophs or heterotrophs. Their main characteristic is that they lack differentiated tissues. The cells of autotrophic organisms have cell walls and chloroplasts.

KINGDOM PLANT
What are they ?
It is defined as all terrestrial plants or living beings that are not able to exert their own movements in the face of any alteration from the outside. They are multicellular eukaryotic organisms with cellulosic cell wall, they live fixed to the ground, they have defined tissues and organs, they are phototrophs.

Types:
Plants with flowers: They are plants with flowers and seeds that contain conductive vessels. In this group are gymnosperms (pines uy cypresses) and angiosperms (oak and rockrose)
Flowerless plants: They are the simple plants that do not contain flowers or seeds. They are bryophytes (mosses and liverworts) and pteridophytes (ferns and equisetos)
