Assessment of threat levels
Moderate (Yellow) - Possible threat to life or property. incidents that have significant impact to safety or availability of first responder resources in the area. eg blockage or controlled access of highway
Minor (Blue) - minimal or localised threat to life or property eg smaller fires, suspicious packages
Severe (Orange) - Significant threat to life or property. For incidents that will have significant impact on wide area for example explosion
Unknown (grey) - Severity not known at this time. Incidents have yet to take places due to pack of available adequate information to deduce the severity of incident at the initial time of reporting.
Extreme (Red) - Extraordinary threat to life of property. extreme case example terrorism

CAG Crisis Management- Hierarchy
CAG has in-place a hierarchical structure for Crisis Management for levels of incidents. The group comprises of the Airport Operation Group (AOG) (Internal & External), Business Continuity Group (BCG) and Info Management Group (IMG) (Internal)
CAG crisis management - set up
CAG collaborates with important stakeholders and allocated designated spaces in the terminal to accommodate to crisis management
These stakeholders include affected airline(s), IMG, Crisis Action Group, etc to offer resources, support and assistance where needed
The designated spaces include the Relative Holding Area (RHA), private Matching Area(PMA), Airport Crisis Management Centre (ACMC)

Contingency Planning

Step 3 Testing of plans - Exercises are conducted to test the effectiveness of the plans. Exercises ranges from table-top to full simulation ; key stakeholders are involved to facilitate the operations
Step 4 Personnel Training - Personnel are sent for refresher training to improve and be clearly aware of their role and responsibilities
Step 2 Developing the plan - in this step milestones and steps are determined and considered in recovery of operations
Step 5 Maintaining the plan - plans are reviewed on a basis to ensure relevancy, consistency and changes
