Critical and Creative Thinking Skills (CCTS)
What is CCTS?
Critical Thinking
- A way at looking at problems and situation from different perspective to conceive of something new
A process that involves students thinking broadly and deeply using skills, behaviors and dispositions
Creative Thinking
- A logical or sequential process of rationalizing, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting information to make informed decisions.
Process
Analysing - Reasoning - Evaluating - Problem Solving - Decision Making
Aim
To promote independent thinking, personal autonomy and reasoned judgment in thought and action
To solve problems
To come up with new and creative ideas.
Allows us to analyze these ideas and adjust them accordingly.
