Drip tip leaves - waxy coating to resist the rain - pointed tip to funnel off water to reduce damage
smooth layer of thin bark - need to ensure they don't absorb too much water so having smooth bark helps rain run off eaily
Lianas (climbing vines) - compete for sunlight by growing up other trees - conserves energy and allows them to photosynthesise
