Extreme weather events can have a negative impact on the ecomy becuse in figure 2 i can see it can stop trucks carrying goods to retailers across the country. This is damaging because it halts people from purchasing Items and therefore limiting income into the country


On the other hand it can have a positive impact on the econmomy because it can force poeple to purchase more winter themed products to help stay warm.


in conclution I think that the economy can be impacted negatively because there are more reasons to back this up. for example take another extreme weather event such as a hurricane, this storm can usally only have negative outcomes.

it is caused by the different cells in the atmosphere
