Cognitive development begins at infancy. Babies learn to recognize their name, parents, siblings, and then learn to use their hands, arms, legs, and feet. Soon they discover they have a voice. Other activities include reading to infants and singing nursery rhymes. This aids in improving their attention span, learning skills while helping with their memory.
Games: Board games (snakes and Ladders, Concentration, Go Fish) and puzzles helps build critical thinking skills.
Free Play: Allows the child to be his/her self by giving them a sense of satisfaction. Children can express themselves and expend energy.
