Definition
Airport hotels are located on the airport or close by the airport and connected to it by shuttle buses. They focus on airline passengers who have overnight layovers or suffer cancelled flights, business clientele, airline staff. They are mainly meant to be functional and for short term stays. prices are charged per hour instead of per night. They can be part of a chain (SOEGJOBS, n.d.).
