Martine et al. 2016 Review PA seems the most effective for improving Physical capacities as well as Physical and cognitive functional capacities, with good overall results. Specifically, for Physical capacities, positive results were greater for Lower and upper limbs strength, endurance or speed as well as for Metabolic functions. For Physical and cognitive functional capacities, the sub-categories Activities of daily living as well as Gait, mobility, posture and balance presented greater positive results.
