After his permanence in Franch, Italy and Germany he became the first example of Bohemian in England—> he was always in conflict with the Victorian respectable and the air that he lived in the rest of Europe
He studied Engeeniere and after the graduation in law he married an American woman and decided to dedicated his life to literature
He became a famous novelist in 1880’s and his most famous books are: The strange case of Dr Jekyll and mr Hyde, the treasure island and kidnapped—> his short stories are full of suspance and supernatural elements
