Weight Loss: Online programs can help people lose weight together. Online Support groups in knowing other peoples weight loss journeys (Wheeling Weightloss on Facebook).
CT has a "Social Work In-Home Support Program" that prioritize providing non-medical homecare services to adults in CT living with a mental or physical disability. Their services include: "adult daycare; adult companion; home delivered meals; case management; chore; case work; homemaker; and personal emergency response system. Eligibility depends on income related to Medicaid, asset levels related to SSI, certification of need by a physician or other appropriate healthcare professional, and a Department social work assessment."
