Mom
My mom has impacted me in many ways, as she has guided me through difficult situations throughout my life. Also, she has helped me get into so many programs such as sports which have helped me become the person I am today. She has taught me how to deal with certain events in life.
Dad
My dad has impacted me in that he has taught me many new crafts and skills, whether it comes to outside yard work, fixing a car, and many other important life skills I will need in my life. When I am stressed out he has helped me ease me so I am not as stressed out. My dad has taught me to continue to be good in life.
My Group of Friends
My group of friends and I have known each other for 10 years. We can all laugh at each other's jokes and we will always have each other’s back. We are always hanging out and I have a good time doing so. They’ve influenced me to always keep friendships close and loyal.
My Park
When I am bored or want to go outside, I can go to my local park. At my park I am able to run around my park which helps me get in shape and clear my mind. I can also play basketball at my park where I can just have fun and stay in shape. My park has influenced me to remember the importance of fitness and how vital it is mentally to get out of the house and enjoy myself.
Cross Country
I’ve been doing cross country since the seventh grade. During this time I’ve been able to meet new people and been able to improve my running. This sport has influenced me in that it reminds me of how easy it is to start talking to people and make friends. This influenced me to have a determined mind and continue to improve on my craft.
Youtube
Youtube has taught me many things as well as provided me with enjoyment. There are so many videos that have helped me whether it be with math or with how to do a particular action. Youtube has influenced me to share my knowledge with others and to provide enjoyment to others like making others laugh.
My Faith
I am Catholic which has influenced the way I think about life in which I was taught to always help others who are less fortunate than me. I am influenced by my faith to always trust in God. For instance I can pray to God when I feel stressed in life.
Volunteering for East Bay Parks
Doing this volunteering work for the Parks influenced me to gain more leadership skills, helping me become a better person. Helping the children and creating bonds with them influenced me to continue to build good relationships with everyone I meet. This work has also taught me how important it is to have professionalism, as I was put through an interview process, which will help me later on in life.
Bay Area
The Bay Area has taught me to always welcome and include everyone no matter their ethnicity or background. The Bay Area has also helped me to take care of the environment, as the Bay is filled with different types of environments. The Bay has also influenced me to remember how important it is to s=celebrate our culture and diversity as there are many types of people of different cultures in the Bay.
8th Grade Basketball
My grade basketball has influenced me in that it tells me how important it is to have teamwork on a team. My team wasn’t the most intimidating or tallest, but we had great teamwork which helped make it all the way to the playoffs. My team has taught me how important it is to have relationships with others we work with as it will benefit the whole team.
