Bay Area: The bay area influenced me with a bunch of cultures and introduced me to a lot of different ones too. I love how there is a mix of people and culture here in the bay. One block could be all Chinese food and the next block could be all Indian food. This variety of choices makes me really love the place I grew up in.
Basketball: Basketball has shown me a lot of this since playing from kindergarten to 8th grade, and still play pickup to this day. Every year I learned a lesson while playing basketball. For example, you will never always get the call you want which can be traced back to the real world where you will not have everything you want. But this sport has also shown me a lot of trials and tests to show myself If I can really control my emotions without blowing up. If a kid wants to fight you Its better to calm down and not get mad and aggressive towards him because the consequences, in the end, aren't worth it at all.

Spotify: Spotify helps me with a lot of things like distracting myself from noise and problems that happen around me. I like how with the premium subscription you can search up any song and any artist and listen to them at any time. I have different playlists for different events and situations. This helps me focus on what's ahead, keep my head up, distract myself from reality for a couple of hours.
Friends: My friends influence me a lot because I tell them a lot of secrets and other stuff that I wouldn't tell anybody else. They have helped me through some dark times and even though they can be annoying sometimes they are still my boys. My friends also give me advice on certain stuff and we hang out on the weekends like going biking or to play basketball and we create memories together that will last a lifetime.
Grandpa: My grandpa really inspires me and humbles me to not take things for granted after all he went through to be at the top now. He is my influence to keep working harder and harder and try to be as smart and hardworking as he is. I also really enjoy his story of how he started from the bottom and grew himself up at the same time as raising my dad and aunts and I take that into consideration how many people and tools I have now to reach as big or bigger than him.
Grandma: She has to be one of the kindest and most caring people I know. Even though my grandma is old-fashioned and sometimes very judgemental I still love her a lot. She has given me a bunch of gifts over the past few years that I'm really grateful for. It's funny to me how she perceives all these new things like having long hair wearing oversized t-shirts are bad. But it makes sense because back in the 70s nobody had style like that and everyone was formal. But all the stories and history about my great-great-grandfathers are amazing to hear how they lived and what they did.
Youtube: Youtube has influenced me by keeping me up to date with things happening around the world and entertaining me. I also learned a lot of new skills and when I need something fixed I go to youtube. This website also helps me keep up with my local news and world news to see what's going on.
Dad: He is my best friend and I learned a lot about the world and people that have affected me and my views. I really look up to him and how his generation has changed from living in El Salvador to living here and having his own family. He has also influenced me with different hobbies and interests. He has introduced me to different topics and how this country and different people react to different things.
El Salvador: This place influenced me to look back on how my ancestors lived and the stories they had. My grandparents tell me a lot of stories of how poor some of my great uncles were and that motivates me to keep working harder. El Salvador will always be one of my favorite places to go on vacation because I get to hang out with family and chill with them for a couple of weeks.
Mom: She has helped me with a lot of different problems. Some examples could be stuff going on in school and people that are bad influences. Her views also affect me because he has more of an open and accepting attitude and view on people. She always has things ready for me and my sister and reminds me that not everyone has a mom like my mom so caring and hardworking to keep my family happy.
