        This connects to the concept of change because before this time, women were not thought of to be able to do "masculine" jobs.
      - This connects to the concept of values and beliefs because the American values and beliefs were that women could not do these roles, so changing those values and beliefs in World War 1 was revolutionary.

        Factories were turned into war production, everything was rationed.

        This is the exact opposite of what is happening in America. Our unemployment rate has skyrocketed. This has been said to be because of the pandemic, but hopefully it doesn't take a war to change our employment rates.
        
        Rationing: Limits the amount of resources people can buy and acquire depending on household sizes.
        
        Propaganda: One-sided information that attempts to persuade the audience to one side and support the war
        
        How did total war lead to rationing? People were forced to ration because anything extra went directly to the war efforts. They wanted to save on resources to give to soldiers and put towards winning the war. This way, there was no spill over and everything was devoted to war.
      - This connects to the concept of authority because the government took their authority and used it to turn civilians into the war.
