- - - - On June 22nd, 1941, Germany invaded the Soviet Union. The soviets were not ready for war.
  - - - The German army besieged Leingard for a two year struggle ending in the death or more that one million civillans. When the winter struck the Germans attack was halted.
  - - - The nazis needed supplies and resources to continue in war. From September 14th 1942, to February 2nd, 1943 the germans and Russians fought for the city Stalingard on the Volga river . Hitler and the Nazis lost the battle. 500,000 and other troops were killed or taken prisoner. The soviet soldiers outnumbered the German soldiers.
  - - - THE ITALIANS SURRENDER on September 8th, 1943. The allies thought the Italian campaign would be over win a matter of weeks but they were wrong. Italy would show frustration and death for thousands of allied soldiers. It would be a year before allied troops entered Rome and the invasion of France would overshadow that victory.
  - - - On the evening of June 5th paratroopers drooped in to secure bridges for the allied adaavnce. Heavy bombers dropped their payloads on what was suppose to be the beach defence, IN the morning the largest ships left Britain for the French coast.
