is someone is is committed to exceptionally high standards and try's to reach high standards by setting them highstandards to get up there.

is someone who is overly critical in evaluations of ones behaviour and encompasses facets of perfectionism that are typically considered abnormal, maladaptive and unhealthy.
functional perfectionism
positive in nature, set high personal standards, desire organsatio0n in life, be persistent in working towards goals and strive for perfection
dysfunctional
negative in nature, they are concerned about the mistakes they have made. worry about parental expectation and criticism. have self doubts and believe that people have high expectations in them.
