Maladaptive consequences that include withdrawal (partial or complete), Impaired immune functio0n, chronic inflammation, long-term performance and impairment
Entrapment - this includes unidimensional athlete identity, high investments, social constraints, performance based self-esteem, low alternative attractiveness
Personality, coping and environment includes perfectionism, trait anxiety, low social support, low autonomy and lack of coping skills.
Antecedents - this included excessive training, school or work demands, stressful social relations, negative performance demands, lack of recovery and early success.
Burnout includes physical or emotional exhaustion, reduced accomplishments and sport devaluation

There are two different types of Perfectionism such as Dysfunctional and Functional.
Dysfunctional Perfectionism is negativity in nature.
Functional Perfectionism is when someone desires organisation in life.
Concerned about mistakes they make
Functional Perfectionism is when someone sets high personal standards.
Parental expectations and parental criticism.
Functional Perfectionism means positive in nature.
Have self doubts about actions and feel others have high expectations of them.
Functional Perfectionism is when someone wants to be persistent in working towards goals and strive for perfection.
