Gifts between employees
Regardless of the number of DoD employees contributing to a gift (or gifts) on a special, infrequent occasion, a DoD employee MAY NOT accept a gift (or gifts) if
DoD employee knows, or has reason to know, that any member of the donating group is their subordinate
market value exceeds an aggregate of $300
Gifts from outside sources
Exception to the gift rule
Employee may accept unsolicited gift from a prohibited source if it is $ 20 or less per gift per occasion
Gifts from one source shall not have an aggregate value of more than $ 50 in a calendar year.
