Refraction
The shift in direction of a wave when it travels from one medium to another as a result of its speed change
Dispersion
Individual waves propagate at different speeds depending on their wavelengths, which is referred to as dispersion.

Eclipses
Solar eclipse
A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between Earth and the sun, casting a shadow on Earth. A solar eclipse may occur only during the new moon phase, when the moon passes squarely between the sun and Earth and casts shadows on the Earth's surface.
Lunar eclipse
When the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, it causes a lunar eclipse. This can happen only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are perfectly or extremely closely aligned, with the Sun between the other two, and only on a full moon night.

Time period
A time period is the amount of time it takes for one complete cycle of vibration to pass through a specific place.
Amplitude
The greatest displacement or distance moved by a point on a vibrating body or wave from its equilibrium position
Wave Length
The distance along a wave's propagation line from any one location to the next point of corresponding phase
