Celts in Britain lived in roundhouses, either clustered together in a small farms or enclosed settlements, or within large hill forts.

Who?
The Celts were the most powerful people in central and northern Europe, since around 750 BC to 12 BC.
Celts means Keltoi/Galli, meaning barbarians .
They were a collection of tribes from central Europe, sharing similar language, religious, beliefs, traditions and culture.
Spread throughout Western Europe - Britain, Ireland, France and Spain.
What?

Gods had apparently to specific to particular tribes, or were connected to important features in the landscape.
Their communication with the gods was by sacrifice, in class of priests and priestesses.
They become a patchwork of tribes, everyone with their own traditions, culture and individual indetities.

The influence of Celtic Britain, especially in art, can be seen right through the Roman occupation, while the absence of Rome in northern Britain and Ireland meant that Celtic tradition continued unaffected.
